Khegu Nkuna is a passionate leader who is enthusiastic about the future of South Africa. She is currently the Group Financial Director for Masingita Group of Companies, a retail property development and investment company. Her focus is on business strategy, continuation and financial management. Masingita operates in the unlisted retail property sector developing retail centres in rural and township communities of South Africa. They currently manage over R3 billion worth of assets.

As one of the few young black women in the commercial and retail property sector, which is male dominated, Khegu faces many challenges. However, she has developed a zeal to succeed and navigate any challenging situation against all odds.

At age 32, she was appointed to serve as an independent non-executive director of a listed property fund and is currently the youngest board member.

Khegu is passionate about property development, particularly in rural and township areas because development in these areas is vital. It brings economic investments and more importantly, creates sustainable jobs. Despite the recent unrest directed at retail centres, she still believes in the township and rural economy in order to restore the dignity of communities and decentralise economic investment.

Khegu is looking forward to helping develop a better South Africa.
